Backyard Olympics Day 2 & Boats

It was morning two in our backyard olympics. This morning events consisted of…
a rope ladder climb,
the trampoline,
running through cones,
and tennis.
I had planned one more event, however after a really long morning nature walk, it was pretty hot. Therefore, by the time we finished with these events the boys were hot and tired.
So to cool down, we headed upstairs to build the ark to go along with our Bible story for the week. Here is what we created with the duplo blocks.
By the time we were finished building the ark, it was lunch time, followed by another day of all three boys taking long naps.
For dinner we got off our plan and went to a certain fast food restaurant because Thing 1 informed me that we needed a nugget box so that he could make a sail boat. So after dinner, Thing 1 designed sailboats for himself and Thing 2. And of course we had to float them in the bathtub, which meant we had to find a way to make them water resistance.
