A is for Apple

Written by Mommy Cameron | Homeschooling

Two weeks ago, after our first week of home school, I realized that what I had planned to do with Thing 1 was going to be too easy.  So after spending last week reworking my plans for him, we are starting over.  The plan, at least for the next month, is to spend a day reviewing each letter.

Today, we did some handwriting practice using the handwriting sheet from Confessions of a Homeschooler.  We moved onto reviewing our sight words and the –at family words.  Then we played our 0-10 BINGO game.

Lastly, we finished up with a little bit of apple stamping that turned into apple throw, squish, slide, painting.  He was nice and messy by the time it was over.

One thing we discovered is that to get the best prints it was best to brush the paint onto the apple with a paintbrush.  However, I know Thing 1 had a great time.

What was your four year old up to today?
