I’m a couple of days behind on post, so be prepared. This is long with lots of pictures.
On Friday, after a morning of chores and school we headed to meet some members of our local homeschool group at the park. Of course there are more NERF guns involved.
Saturday Thing 3 had his first tournament. He played at 10:30 and 12 on Saturday morning. Thing 4 played all of the first game in goal where he made several great saves.
At his second game at noon, he played in the field until about me of his teammates got hurt and he ended up back in goal where he made a few more great saves.
Thing 1 and Thing 2, both had games at 9am and 10:30am, respectively. Daddy Cameron said that they both played well. Thing 1’s team won and Thing 2’s team lost.
Sunday we were all up and leaving the house at 7am, so we could get to Thing 3’s last tournament game. Thing 3 played the first half in goal and the second half on the field.
We then headed over to another set of fields to watch Thing 1 play his game at noon. Thing 1 played great and even had a an opportunity to play forward where he had a couple of good chances on goal.
After Thing 1’s game, we headed to another field to watch Thing 2 play at 1:30. Thing 2 didn’t have a whole lot of action, but he did make a couple of good saves in goal.
We then hung around until 4:30 so that Thing 2 could play his second game of the day. He started the game in the goal where he made some amazing saves. During the second half he played forward. At one point he was fouled in the box and drew a penalty kick. His coach let him take the kick and he scored. His team won the game 3-1.
Oh, and don’t forget about super fan!
We finally made it back home about 7pm.
Just another day Raising the Cameron Clan!
